Drees & Sommer SE is seeking a Project Construction Manager to lead large-scale industrial projects across sectors like manufacturing, automotive, energy, and life sciences. You will plan, execute, and deliver complex projects in multicultural settings, based in Seville, with regular travel within Spain and abroad.

The role requires strong technical leadership, project management expertise, and excellent communication across clients and stakeholders.

Formación

• 5–10 years of experience managing industrial projects.
• Proven recent experience in industrial sectors (semiconductors, manufacturing, energy, logistics, life sciences).
• High level of English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead industrial projects from requirements to commissioning.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with external partners.
• Manage projects end-to-end: production facilities, buildings, and systems.
• Act as primary client contact; organize workshops and align interests.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage contracts, timelines, costs, scope, and quality.
• Analyze risks and propose solutions to ensure results.
• Support business development and new project acquisitions.

Job Description

AtDrees & Sommer, we are looking for a Project Construction Managerwith solid experience to lead large‑scale industrial projects in sectors such as manufacturing and product development, includingautomotive, batteries, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, life sciences, chemicals, energy, and logistics. This position plays a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of highly complex projects within multicultural environments governed by global standards and regulations, and it is based in Seville, Andalucia (Spain).

The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership, comprehensive project management capabilities, strategic vision, and exceptional communication and coordination skills across clients, stakeholders, and internal interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial projects from requirements identification, design, planning, execution, and commissioning.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams, providing technical leadership and ensuring effective coordination across disciplines and external partners.
• Manage projects end‑to‑end, including production processes, facilities, buildings, and technical systems.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, organizing workshops and aligning interests among all involved parties.
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements, and methodological frameworks applicable to the industrial sector.
• Manage contractsand oversee key aspects such as timelines, costs, scope, and quality.
• Support strategic decision‑making by analyzing risks, proposing solutions, and ensuring a results‑oriented approach.
• Drive business development activities by building and strengthening the professional network and contributing to the acquisition of new projects.
• Represent Drees & Sommer in international environments, collaborating with multicultural teams and adapting to global requirements.

Qualifications

1. Academic Background

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building/Construction Engineering, Architectural Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Master’s degrees or advanced certifications in project management (PMP, IPMA, Lean, etc.) will be valued.

2. Professional Experience

• Between5 and 10 years of experiencein managing industrial projects.
• Proven recent experience inindustrial projectsin sectors such as semiconductors, manufacturing, energy, logistics, or life sciences.

3. Language Skills

• High level inEnglish and Spanish.

4. Professional and Personal Competencies

• Leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Highly organized profile with decision‑making capability, initiative, and strong results orientation.

7. Availability and Mobility
