A fast-growth AdTech company in Barcelona is looking for a Programmatic / Publishers Business Developer. This role involves building sales relationships, optimizing publisher revenue, and representing Tappx in the Publisher community. Ideally, candidates should have 5 years of sales experience, specific knowledge of programmatic advertising, and excellent data analysis skills. The position offers flexible work hours and a hybrid model.

Role

As a Programmatic / Publishers Business Developer you will have the following responsibilities :

Responsibilities
  • Sales and Relationship building - Build a sales pipeline; Prospection based on defined target publishers; Lead qualification based on compatibility with Tappx technology and performance; Demonstrate a consultative sales approach, understanding the publishers business goals and finding ways to help them reach those goals with Tappx; Build strong relationships with publishers; Sign publishers and coordinate their onboarding; Log all actions in the CRM (Hubspot); Gain knowledge of the CPM ecosystem (mediations, SSPs, DSPs, networks) and technological aspects of Tappx integration; Staying in touch with clients to identify industry trends, relevant events, etc.
  • Publisher Optimization - Develop an understanding of Tappx´s KPIs and performance drivers; Manage onboarded publishers during the first 3 months maximizing revenue during this time; Analyze daily data to detect possible optimizations according to the Tappx KPIs; Troubleshoot incidences and solve issues by coordinating with other teams (Demand, IT); Make a proper handover to the AM with all the historical information and an introduction.
  • Sales Strategy - Represent Tappx within the Publisher community; Gather feedback from the publishers on possible improvements or new features and transmit them to your Team Leader; Create and test new argumentation techniques (for email and calls) and share best performers with the team; Demonstrate curiosity to learn and keep yourself updated, in order to become an expert in your field.

Requirements

We are looking for if you have :

  • 5 years experience in sales
  • 2 years experience in the programmatic advertising industry
  • Experience working with direct publishers (webs or apps)
  • Demonstrate data analysis capability
  • Tech savvy
  • Knowledge of industry KPIs is a big plus
  • Consultative Sales techniques
  • Any knowledge about the digital marketing environment is an advantage
