Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) based in Spain with remote/hybrid options to support German HTA work. The role emphasizes statistical programming for AMNOG dossiers and clinical data analyses, with collaboration across Market Access and HEOR teams. Fluency in German and English is required.

The ideal candidate has a biostatistics or data science background, experience in HTA, and strong programming skills, including CDISC SDTM/ADaM standards, to deliver rigorous, audit-ready outputs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute preferred) and/or clinical development.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM).
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Perform scientific assessment and analysis of clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroup analyses.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons and support interpretation of outputs.
• Contribute to automation and standardization of analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of generated outcomes.
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G BA, and relevant HTA bodies.
