Savant Network is seeking a Production Planning & Scheduling Lead to join its Supply Chain organization in Barcelona. The role focuses on Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling, and SAP PP/DS optimization across manufacturing sites.

You will act as a global reference for MRP and planning processes, partnering with factory planners and technology teams to drive improvements, tool adoption, data quality, and KPI-driven performance.

• Extensive experience in Production Planning and Scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP/DS and MRP processes.
• Experience as a key user, super user, process expert or business representative in SAP implementations or rollouts is highly valued.
• Ability to translate operational needs into system improvements and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Own and continuously improve Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling across manufacturing sites.
• Act as a functional expert for SAP PP/DS and help plants use the tool effectively in daily planning.
• Support and improve MRP processes and performance.
• Collaborate with factory planners on capacity, sequencing, constraints and scheduling practices.
• Drive adoption of planning tools and reduce reliance on local/offline planning solutions.
• Define and promote planning best practices, standards and ways of working across sites.
• Support improvements in planning-related master data and data quality.
• Partner with Technology teams on system improvements and future developments.
• Support implementations, rollouts, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop training, documentation and tools for the Production Planning community.
• Monitor planning performance through KPIs and dashboards.

Scope: Global

We are supporting a global multinational company in the search for a Production Planning & Scheduling Lead to join its Supply Chain organization in Barcelona.

This is a business-side Supply Chain role, with a strong focus on Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling and the effective use of SAP PP/DS and MRP across manufacturing sites.

We are particularly interested in candidates who combine hands-on understanding of production planning with strong systems knowledge, for example Production Planners or Schedulers who have evolved into key users, process experts or planning systems specialists.

The role

You will act as a global reference for Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling and MRP, working closely with factory planners, Supply Chain teams and Technology.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Own and continuously improve Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling processes across manufacturing sites.
• Act as a functional expert for SAP PP/DS, helping plants make effective use of the tool in their day-to-day planning.
• Support and improve MRP processes and performance.
• Work with factory planners on production capacity, sequencing, constraints and scheduling practices.
• Drive adoption of planning tools and reduce reliance on local or offline planning solutions.
• Define and promote planning best practices, standards and ways of working across sites.
• Support improvements in planning-related master data and data quality.
• Partner with Technology teams on system improvements, incidents, automation and future developments.
• Support implementations, rollouts, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop training, documentation and tools for the Production Planning community.
• Monitor planning performance through KPIs and dashboards.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in Production Planning and/or Production Scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of SAP PP/DS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling).
• Experience with MRP and production planning processes.
• Previous experience as a key user, super user, process expert or business representative in SAP implementations or rollouts is highly valued.
• Understanding of production constraints, capacity planning, sequencing and manufacturing master data.
• Ability to work between business and technology, translating operational needs into system and process improvements.
• Experience working with factory planners and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and continuous improvement mindset.
• Fluent English and ability to work in an international environment.
• Experience with SAP APO, S/4HANA, SAP IBP or other Advanced Planning Systems will be considered a plus.
