KION Group is seeking a seasoned SAP PP specialist to drive global production planning processes across manufacturing and supply chain operations from Barcelona. You will partner with business and IT, define new requirements, validate solutions, and support end-to-end delivery with training and hypercare.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SAP PP in international settings, fluent English, German or other EMEA languages a plus, and willing to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Define, implement, and continuously improve global SAP PP processes and system solutions with business and IT stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive improvement initiatives to enhance performance and standardization.
• Ensure alignment with global standards, while supporting regional and local requirements.
• Lead design, validation, and implementation of new business requirements, process enhancements, and system developments.
• Manage end-to-end delivery: requirement gathering, specification, testing, deployment, training, and hypercare support.
• Act as the primary contact for SAP PP topics and key users across locations.
• Coordinate and support the global key user network for collaboration and process consistency.
• Support scope validation, rollout activities, and evaluation of process extensions across sites and regions.
• Proactively communicate process changes, project updates, decisions, and risks to stakeholders.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement across manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Contribute to integration and harmonization of SAP PP with related functions and systems.

Mission

Drive the optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement of global SAP PP processes within KION ITS EMEA, ensuring efficient, scalable, and high-quality manufacturing and supply chain operations across all regions. Act as the key link between business and IT stakeholders to deliver harmonized processes, sustainable solutions, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve global SAP PP processes and system solutions in close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and drive improvement initiatives to enhance performance and standardization.
• Ensure alignment with global standards and best practices while supporting regional and local business requirements where appropriate.
• Lead the design, validation, and implementation of new business requirements, process enhancements, and system developments.
• Manage and coordinate the end-to-end delivery process, including requirement gathering, specification, testing, deployment, training, and hypercare support.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key users and business representatives regarding SAP PP process topics and system-related requirements.
• Coordinate and support the global key user network, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and process consistency across locations.
• Support scope validation, rollout activities, and evaluation of process extensions across international sites and regions.
• Proactively communicate process changes, project updates, decisions, and risks to all relevant stakeholders.
• Promote innovation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Contribute to the integration and harmonization of SAP PP processes with related business functions and systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience working with SAP PP within manufacturing, production planning, or supply chain environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP PP processes, including Production Planning, MRP, Production Orders, and integration with related modules.
• Proven experience in business process analysis, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments, collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders.
• Solid experience in gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional specifications and system solutions.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end process implementation activities, including testing, deployment, and user training.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Additional languages, particularly German or other EMEA languages, are considered a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
