Smadex, a performance ad-tech company, seeks a data scientist to bridge theory and production within its ML team in Barcelona. You will work on deep neural networks powering a high-frequency bidding system, improving performance and interpretability across millions of ad requests per second.

The role combines rigorous data analysis with production-grade modeling in a hybrid setup, offering a strong compensation package and work-from-home flexibility.

Formación

• 5+ years of applied Data Science and Machine Learning
• Education: BSc/MSc/PhD in a quantitative field
• Deep understanding of Statistics and Probability
• Expertise with core DNN and ML architectures

Responsabilidades

• Model Understanding and Training: explain predictions and validate hypotheses with data analyses and model training.
• Deep-Dive Auction Dynamics Analysis: analyze model behavior in live auction environment and interaction with market dynamics.
• Experimentation: design and analyze experiments, A/B tests to validate bidding strategies and model improvements.
• System Optimization: identify bottlenecks and propose architectural or feature enhancements for performance at scale.
