Destinus in Madrid is seeking a Production Engineer to drive UAV system production, translating designs into scalable workflows and leading improvements on the factory floor.

You will set up production lines, work with R&D to scale from prototype to production, and develop procedures to ensure quality and efficiency in a highly regulated aerospace environment. English fluency is required.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or related industry.
  • Experience in production/manufacturing engineering roles in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech environments.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes: mechanical assembly, electrical integration, and system-level builds.
  • Project planning skills and ability to keep timelines and teams aligned.
  • Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing and process optimization.
  • Solid understanding of technical documentation and work instructions.
  • Comfort working in a highly regulated environment with strict quality requirements.
  • Fluency in English.

Requirements
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years + of experience in a similar role within aerospace manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role, ideally in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes - mechanical assembly, electrical integration, and system-level builds
  • Project planning skills and a knack for keeping timelines and teams aligned
  • Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing and process optimization
  • Solid understanding of technical documentation and work instructions
  • Comfort working in a highly regulated environment with strict quality requirements
