Lantek in Bilbao or Miñano invites a strategic Product Manager to define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Digital Machine Platform, connecting our CAD/CAM and manufacturing software with real-world equipment.

You will steer post-processing and machine connectivity across a multi-vendor ecosystem, engaging with customers and partners to deliver scalable, cloud-enabled solutions and AI-based enhancements.

Formación

• Advanced level of English.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager within CAD/CAM, CNC, industrial automation or manufacturing software.
• Strong understanding of CNC postprocessors, machine connectivity, controller behaviour or machine configuration.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and connected manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with machine-tool builders, CNC controller manufacturers or industrial technology partners will be highly valued.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, distributed architectures, automation or AI applied to industrial software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.

Responsabilidades

• Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Digital Machine Platform.
• Lead the evolution of post-processing, CNC and machine configuration capabilities across the ecosystem.
• Define a global approach for managing postprocessors and machine-specific assets through their lifecycle (catalogue, discovery, provisioning, versioning, compatibility, distribution and automated updates).
• Shape connectivity capabilities for software to communicate with physical equipment and expose machine data for monitoring, performance analysis and KPIs.
• Enable faster and more consistent support for new machines, controllers and technologies, promoting reuse and standardization.
• Engage with customers, subsidiaries, application specialists, machine-tool builders, controller manufacturers and technology partners to translate needs into priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to define measurable outcomes and coherent evolution across the portfolio.
• Apply advances in software architecture, cloud services, automation and AI to improve scalability, quality and speed of delivery.

What will your role be?

As Product Manager -- Digital Machine Platform, you will define the vision, strategy and roadmap of the platform that connects Lantek's software portfolio with the physical manufacturing environment.

You will lead the evolution of our CNC post-processing and machine connectivity capabilities, ensuring the platform continues to meet today's customer needs while laying the foundations for the next generation of connected manufacturing.

Working closely with Engineering, Software Architecture, Quality, Support, subsidiaries, customers and industrial technology partners, you will play a key role in strengthening one of Lantek's core differentiators: supporting one of the industry's broadest multi-vendor and multi-technology manufacturing ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Digital Machine Platform, balancing the continuous evolution of current capabilities with the foundations required for future sheet metal machines and manufacturing scenarios.
• Lead the evolution of Lantek's post-processing, CNC and machine configuration capabilities across its multi-vendor and multi-technology ecosystem, ensuring accurate, reliable and compatible machine-ready output.
• Define a global approach for managing postprocessors and machine-specific assets through their complete lifecycle, including catalogue, discovery, provisioning, versioning, compatibility, distribution and automated updates.
• Shape the connectivity capabilities required for Lantek software to communicate and interact with physical equipment, and to capture, normalize and make machine data available to downstream applications for monitoring, performance analysis and machine KPIs.
• Enable faster and more consistent support for new machines, controllers and manufacturing technologies, promoting reuse and standardization while preserving the flexibility required by a diverse machine ecosystem.
• Engage with customers, subsidiaries, application specialists, machine‑tool builders, controller manufacturers and technology partners to understand needs, validate direction and translate industry developments into product priorities.
• Work closely with engineering, software architecture and other product teams to define measurable outcomes and deliver a coherent evolution across the Lantek portfolio.
• Apply advances in software architecture, cloud services, automation and AI-assisted engineering to improve the scalability, quality and speed with which machine capabilities are created, validated and delivered globally.

Ideal Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Advanced level of English.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager within CAD/CAM, CNC, industrial automation or manufacturing software.
• Strong understanding of CNC postprocessors, machine connectivity, controller behaviour or machine configuration.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and connected manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with machine‑tool builders, CNC controller manufacturers or industrial technology partners will be highly valued.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, distributed architectures, automation or AI applied to industrial software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
