Key Responsabilities

As part ofPlain Concepts, we are a fast-growing business and tech innovation consulting unit working across AI, Data, Cloud Strategy, Development & Transformation. We collaborate with global leaders like Microsoft, OpenAI, and Google to design and build next-gen digital solutions.

We are looking for a highly motivated Product Lead to build-up and drive our enterprise product vertical within the Plain Concepts’ Impact Studios.

Develop the Offering : Shape and evolve our Product Vertical Value proposition – from service structure, technology stack, delivery formats to methodical playbooks and reusable tools. à Mid of September final

Lead Client Engagements : Own the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, from opportunity framing and use case validation to MVP implementation and agent deployment.

Drive Commercial Growth : Collaborate with Sales to identify, create pitches, and win projects. Translate client needs into tailored solutions and scalable value propositions.

Build & Scale the Team : Help to recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing team of business consultants and LowCode / GenAI experts. Define delivery standards and foster excellence.

Execute & Deliver Project : Taking End to End Responsability over the delivery of up to 3 Projects in parallel, managing the operational Consulting & Delivery Teams in the projects, functioning as Sponsor and Point of Contact for Clients, Assuring the Quality of the Delivery and maintaining the Budget & Commercial discussions with the client

Objective and Goals
Primary Goal

Drive the growth and excellence of the Product Vertical within Plain Concepts Consulting by blending strategic sales engagement, vertical offering development, and hands‑on project delivery to achieve measurable business impact and sustainable client value.

1. Sales & Business Growth (30%)

Contribute directly to the consulting revenue engine through active sales support, opportunity shaping, and business development.

Key Activities :

  • Partner with Plain Sales Teams (New Biz & Accounts) to identify and qualify opportunities relevant for the Product Vertical.
  • Lead and co‑create proposals for RfPs, entry formats (sprints / workshops), and full‑scale project engagements.
  • Participate in all relevant sales pipeline stages – from intro and scoping meetings to pitch and negotiation.
  • Estimate scopes, define delivery volumes, and shape commercial offers (including project pricing and margin planning).
  • Represent the Product Vertical at events, in white papers, and Plain's owned media – ensuring market visibility.
  • Actively scout and realize on‑selling and upselling opportunities, especially post‑delivery and post‑MVP phases.
2. Vertical Strategy, Value Proposition & Methodology Development (20%)

Build, refine, and continuously improve the positioning, structure, and service logic of the Product Vertical.

Key Activities :

  • Define and evolve the vertical’s value proposition , aligned with core pillars : Business Growth, Core Performance, and Differentiation.
  • Build structured delivery frameworks , templates, and tool‑supported playbooks across the project lifecycle : Discovery → Ideation → Validation → Execution → Activation.
  • Benchmark and iterate based on current trends in digital, product, and AI consulting, ensuring Plain remains ahead of market expectations.
  • Co‑create vertical‑specific materials : pitch decks, solution briefs, best‑practice cases, etc.
  • Evaluate team capability gaps and design hiring roadmaps jointly with Talent and Leadership teams.
  • Actively contribute to recruiting efforts for the vertical by supporting candidate evaluation, cultural fit, and case interviews.
  • Take over transversal responsability on Sales Operations ensuring that the Forecast Sales Reporting, CRM and
  • Participate in the Extended Leadership Comittee defining and steering specific strategic initiatives
3. Project Definition & Delivery Excellence (50%)

Ensure high‑quality execution of consulting projects by leading from the front in both strategic thinking and operational output.

Key Activities :

  • Define and scope client engagements in alignment with vertical value proposition and business objectives.
  • Select and adapt the appropriate methodology and tooling based on project typology and client maturity.
  • Build and manage cross‑functional delivery teams in collaboration with other units
  • Actively contribute to key project activities : research, business case building, conceptual design, GTM strategies, etc.
  • Implement and ensure rigorous quality assurance standards to ensure each engagement meets or exceeds client expectations, internal standards, and commercial targets.
  • Support knowledge transfer and enablement across the team by facilitating retrospectives and method evolution sessions.

Requirements
Experience :
  • 10+ years in consulting, digital transformation, or business building
  • Demonstrated success in building service offerings or verticals in an innovation‑driven context
  • Strong exposure to AI, automation, and Digital Product Conception, Product Development and Innovation
Skills :
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen, paired with hands‑on delivery skills
  • Expertise in E2E consulting processes : strategy, validation, business case, MVP
  • Ability to translate tech into commercial impact and measurable outcomes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or German is a plus
