Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
• Around 4-6 years of experience in the automotive or industrial sector, ideally in product engineering or development.
• Experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of product design and development.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools; SAP and Microsoft Office.

• Define department objectives aligned with engineering strategy and business priorities.
• Lead and develop the engineering team, ensuring needed knowledge and resources.
• Plan and coordinate human and technical resources for on-time project delivery.
• Supervise activities and make technical/organizational decisions to meet goals.

• Set product and design guidelines and promote best practices across locations.
• Identify opportunities for new product development and improvements.
• Coordinate new product development from definition to industrialisation.

We are looking for an experienced Product Engineering Manager to lead a product engineering team within an international industrial environment.

The position will be responsible for driving the development and evolution of a specific product family, combining technical leadership, people management and product development to ensure that engineering solutions meet customer, market and business needs.

What will you be doing?

• Define and drive the department's objectives in line with the overall engineering strategy and business priorities.
• Lead, develop and support the engineering team, ensuring the right level of technical knowledge, capabilities and resources.
• Plan and coordinate both human and technical resources to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
• Supervise engineering activities and make the necessary technical and organisational decisions to achieve department objectives.
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, specifications and design standards.
• Establish product and design guidelines and promote best practices across different locations.
• Identify opportunities for new product development and product improvement, based on customer requirements, market needs and technical feasibility.
• Coordinate and supervise new product development projects from definition through industrialisation.
• Provide technical support to the engineering team, other internal departments and customers when required.
• Work closely with other functions to ensure robust, manufacturable and competitive product solutions.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
• Around 4-6 years of experience in the automotive or industrial sector, ideally in product engineering or product development.
• Previous experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of product design and development.
• 3D CAD tools.
• SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced level of English and Spanish.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Customer and results orientation, with the ability to combine technical depth with a broader business perspective.
