Pluxee España SAU is hiring a Senior Product Engineer to own features from domain design through backend services to the UI, while leveraging AI-assisted workflows across the stack.

You will build resilient, scalable systems in a domain spanning Benefits, Payments, Leaders, and HR admin tooling, with a focus on data consistency and operational excellence.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade applications, full-stack or with strong cross-layer capability.
• Proficiency in Typescript ecosystem; comfortable across backend and frontend with AI tooling.
• Experience with payments mindset or banking-related systems is a plus.

Permanent Regular Job Description: Senior Product Engineer and become a key contributor to our mission of revolutionizing employee compensation.

You’ll own features end-to-end — backend, frontend, and the AI-assisted workflows that let one engineer move fluidly across the stack — inside one of our core domains.

Domain Context

• Benefits — Own the domain that defines what benefits an employee can access, under what conditions, with what limits, and in what markets. Benefits isn't a simple CRUD layer — it's a rich domain with multi-tenant configurations, eligibility rules that vary by company and country, tax compliance requirements, and real-time state that must always be consistent. Covers areas like health insurance, pensions, custom benefits, food and transport, childcare, training, and renting.
• Payments — Build the engine that moves money globally. A high-performance team dedicated to resilient, mission-critical systems where transactional precision, idempotency, and fault tolerance are at the heart of everything. Involves evolving distributed, event-driven architectures at high transaction volume.
• Leaders — The Leaders domain covers the employee-facing mobile and web experience within the Cobee platform, managing personal data, benefit visibility, and privacy compliance (GDPR/LPD). The domain shares boundaries with Payments (owning employee-specific card logic and mobile flows) and Benefits (storing accumulation activation decisions while Benefits executes the end-of-cycle operations).
• Managers App Owns the HR admin experience, the tools client-company administrators use to manage their organization on the platform, and the client companies entity itself, the core record that everything else in the system hangs off of. Spans self-onboarding flows, multi-region and multi-market rollout, and the operational reliability of the admin-facing product. A domain where company-level configuration, data integrity, and cross-region consistency matter as much as UX.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Features End-to-End: Take a feature from domain design through backend services to the UI that ships it, and the observability that tells you it's working.
• Design for Resilience at Scale: Build and optimize robust software capable of handling high-volume traffic while ensuring data consistency and system reliability, evolving existing systems into scalable, event-driven architectures as product requirements grow.
• Evolve Distributed Architectures: Understand the complexities of existing systems and evolve them into scalable, event-driven architectures to meet future global product requirements.
• Mission-Critical Precision: When dealing with benefits and money movements, accuracy is essential. You will champion comprehensive automated testing (unit, integration, and e2e) and run advanced load and performance simulations to guarantee rock-solid stability
• Operational Excellence & Observability: Monitor service health in production, using observability tools to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or anomalies.
• Technical Leadership: Share your expertise through deep code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and documenting engineering standards that elevate the entire squad.
• AI-Driven Execution: Actively leverage AI tools and coding assistants on a daily basis to accelerate development cycles (SDD), automate repetitive tasks, and optimize overall team processes and delivery speed powered by AI Agents.

Our Technical Stack

• Node.js (TypeScript), NestJS (or similar frameworks), React, React Native.
• Data & State: MongoDB (Atlas), Redis for caching and distributed locking and PostgreSQL.
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD (deploying multiple times daily).
• Observability: Sentry and Datadog/New Relic for real-time monitoring and PostHog.
• AI & Productivity: GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and other GenAI assistants.
• Collaboration: GitHub, GitLab, Teams, JIRA, Confluence.

You are a match

• Proven Senior Expertise: 5+ years of experience building production-grade applications, full-stack or with strong ability to work across layers. (Experience within Typescript ecosystem will be a plus.) Comfort working across backend and frontend, using AI tooling to close gaps in unfamiliar territory.
• Distributed Systems Mastery: Deep understanding of race conditions, eventual consistency, idempotency, and message brokers.
• The "Payments Mindset": experience with banking systems, payment gateways (Stripe, Adyen, etc.), ledger systems, or reconciliation processes will be a plus.
