What is it like to be a Product Assurance Engineer at DHV Technology?
As a Product Assurance Engineer at DHV Technology, you will be responsible for studying requirements, planning, and executing activities aimed at ensuring the proper management of project development and industrialization in a preventive manner. You will analyze and minimize risks to guarantee a robust entry into production and a final delivery to the customer in full compliance with the defined requirements.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the proper management of standards, regulations, and quality management tools in the execution of assigned projects.
- Collaborate in maintaining compliance with the quality and environmental management system.
- Prepare an appropriate project quality plan.
- Act as the quality representative of DHV towards customers in assigned projects.
- Provide support during the process of requirements analysis, design, material selection, definition of controls, validations, and product testing.
- Ensure the implementation of a preventive methodology before production entry, resulting in a satisfactory level of product quality and safety.
- Perform project audits to ensure proper management throughout the entire lifecycle until final product delivery to the customer.
- Validate the manufacturing dossier (engineering, production, and inspection), supporting the project team to ensure an adequate manufacturing, inspection, and delivery cycle.
- Responsible for the proper resolution of manufacturing issues and closure of NCRs.
- Ensure proper management of changes / RFWs / RFDs and impact analyses, monitoring product configuration (Baseline vs. As-Built).
- Responsible for ensuring analyses related to RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety).
- Ensure the preparation of Product Quality documentation, both for internal purposes and for delivery to the customer.
- Guarantee compliance with product quality requirements for final delivery to the customer.
Education and Requirements
- ~ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Aerospace, Electrical / Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related scientific–technological field, with basic knowledge of industrial quality.
- ~ Master’s degree in Quality Management Systems (AS / EN 9100 or ESA environment) is desirable.
- ~3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in development and industrialization project management.
- ~ Written and spoken fluency in English.
Technical Competencies
- Solid understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Project management skills in development and industrialization phases.
- Ability to apply preventive methodologies and risk management practices.
- Knowledge of product and process validation, including components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with quality process control and manufacturing audits.
Valued Knowledge in
- Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- ESA standards and regulations.
- Master’s in Occupational Risk Prevention.
