iLovePDF is seeking a Mid-Senior Product Designer with a strong UI focus to join the design team in Barcelona. You will create polished, high-quality final designs for our digital products, applying UX principles, accessibility, and Design Systems to ensure coherent experiences across platforms.

You will drive UI design, prototype in Figma, collaborate with Design, Business and Development, and contribute to testing, validation and the evolution of our Design System.

Formación

• 4+ years in product-driven tech, focusing on UI across web and mobile.
• Strong portfolio with high-quality UI, interaction design and prototyping.
• Experience with Design Systems, accessibility and responsive design.

Responsabilidades

About the role:

We’re looking for a Mid-Senior Product Designer with a strong UI focus to join the iLovePDF design team. In this role, you’ll focus primarily on creating polished, high-quality final designs for our digital products, while bringing a solid understanding of UX, accessibility, and Design Systems to ensure coherent and effective experiences across platforms.

What you will do:

• Drive the UI design and visual execution, translating product and user needs into polished, intuitive, and high-quality final designs.
• Work closely with Designers, Business, and Development teams to understand requirements, explore solutions, and bring designs from early concepts to final resolution.
• Help test and validate design solutions before reaching the final design, using prototypes, feedback, and user insights to identify issues and refine the experience.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and interactive flows in Figma to communicate, test, and validate design decisions effectively.
• Contribute to the evolution and application of our Design System, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Apply UX principles, accessibility best practices, and responsive design to create inclusive and usable interfaces across Web, Desktop, and Mobile products.
• Work closely with the development team, understanding technical constraints and possibilities and ensuring that final designs are feasible and accurately translated into production.
• Rely on user insights, feedback, and data to help inform and refine UI and interaction design decisions.
• Contribute ideas and propose continuous improvements to our products, design processes, and ways of working based on user and team needs, research findings, and best practices.
• Explore and use AI tools and workflows when they can improve efficiency, accelerate exploration, or support the quality of the design process.
• At least 4 years of experience at a product-driven tech company, with a strong focus on designing digital products and high-quality user interfaces.
• A strong foundation in visual and UI design, with a background in graphic design, interaction design, or a related discipline.
• A portfolio showing high-quality UI and visual design across desktop and mobile. We’d love to see how you’ve translated product and user needs into polished final designs, as well as examples of prototyping and interaction design.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Figma, including auto-layout, variants, constraints, prototyping, components, and design libraries.
• Experience working with Design Systems and applying components, patterns, and guidelines consistently across digital products.
• Knowledge of accessibility and responsive design principles.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with a high attention to detail and a strong eye for visual quality.
• Fluent in Spanish and English. The design team works mainly in Spanish, but English is necessary for documentation and stakeholders communication.
• EU citizenship or a valid work permit to work in Spain.

• Passion for sharing UI design knowledge and best practices with the team to improve design quality, consistency, and workflow efficiency.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end principles.
• Knowledge of AI and a wide variety of resources to improve project efficiency.
• Proactive and innovative attitude to seek creative solutions.
• Basic knowledge of Storybook and Zeroheight.
• You’re interested in Design Ops.
