Morningstar is seeking a Product Consultant, Reporting Solutions based in Madrid to support EMEA clients of the Morningstar Publishing System. You will collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Data teams to resolve challenges and deliver solutions that improve the client experience.

You will act as the primary post-sales contact, manage data and technical issues, and help inform product improvements while building strong client relationships in a dynamic, international environment.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields.
• Strong communication and presentation skills both written and oral.
• Fluency in English is required; another European language preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Morningstar Publishing System EMEA clients to ensure timely production and QA.
• Serve as single point of contact for post-sales services and ongoing relationship support; own issues and coordinate resolution.
• Contribute client feedback to product managers and liaise with data and sales teams.
• Build effective client relationships by understanding needs and aligning with sales/product teams.
• Scope out client business, functional, and technical requirements in client-friendly documents.
• Maintain feedback loops to identify areas for service improvement.
• Maintain insight about data, research, and technology solutions and communicate to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Work with development and QA teams to explain prototypes and specifications.
• Coordinate with sales and customer success to provide timely feedback on queries and insights into customer experience.

About The Role

The Product Consultant, Reporting Solutions is responsible for supporting Morningstar Publishing System (MPS) clients across the EMEA region, ensuring a high-quality client experience throughout ongoing product usage, enhancements, and post-sales support.

As a key point of contact for clients, this role combines relationship management, product expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to help clients maximize the value of the product and support their day-to-day business needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, Data, and other internal teams to resolve client challenges, deliver solutions, and drive continuous improvements to the client experience.

Based in Madrid, this position reports to the Senior Manager, Support EMEA, and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international, and highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our Morningstar Publishing System EMEA client base to ensure timely production, quality assurance, and the delivery of projects for new and existing clients.
• Serve as a single point of contact for post-sales services and ongoing relationship support. Own, coordinate, and resolve data, functional, and technical issues that arise from all Morningstar products by acting as the primary issue owner for assigned clients. Collaborate with other internal resources until an issue is resolved and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
• Use your innovative approach to contribute to the business in ways that range from communicating client feedback to product managers, liaising with data and sales colleagues, and liaising with data contributors while contributing to changing and enhancing processes.
• Proactively build effective client relationships, including the ability to anticipate and listen to our clients' needs and be responsive. Achieve this by working closely with clients, our sales & product teams to deepen our client relationships, act as the key product expert and come to a better understanding of how they use and manage our products & data; and identify opportunities this may present for Morningstar.
• Scope out the work to formalize the client's business, functional, and technical requirements in a client-friendly document.
• Maintain and build strong client relationships by creating feedback loops that identify key areas for improvement in our service offerings.
• Maintain a thorough insight about our data, research and technology solutions and build channels in conjunction with our sales and product teams for communicating to clients and internal stakeholders to ensure an efficient process to guide clients in their interaction with Morningstar and our solutions.
• Work with the development and QA teams to explain prototypes and specifications.
• Coordinate and liaise with our sales and customer success teams to provide timely feedback on client queries and deep insights into the customer experience for those markets.

Requirements

Base Salary Compensation Range

EUR 29.000,00-39.000,00

Bonus Target

5% Annual

We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
