Job summary

TD SYNNEX Spain in Barcelona is seeking a procurement assistant to handle purchase orders, verify vendor confirmations in SAP, and support the Strategic Planner with price updates. You will coordinate stock rotation with vendors and logistics, resolve invoicing queries, and ensure adherence to policies, delivering projects to completion with clear internal communication.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders based on parameters from Strategic Planner.
• Check vendor confirmations for product, quantity, pricing, and delivery dates in SAP.
• Assist with vendor price changes ensuring correct cost prices in SAP.
• Coordinate stock rotation with vendor and logistics teams per contracts.
• Resolve invoice and warehouse queries for assigned vendors.
• Follow policies and update them as needed.
• Own and manage ad hoc projects through to completion.
• Ensure timely communication with internal stakeholders and vendors.

• Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) and inventory replenishment systems (SAP R3) would be advantageous.
• Good analytical skills - to analyse data and take appropriate action.
• Knowledge of basic purchasing and inventory principles and practices would be advantageous.
