ABB is hiring for a Procurement role in Madrid, Spain. You will implement and maintain purchasing activities, ensuring compliance and driving cost efficiency. The job reports to the Procurement Team Lead and offers hybrid work in the Madrid area.

Required are a engineering/technical degree, 5+ years in procurement, knowledge of electronics, SAP-Ariba, and willingness to travel. Fluent in English and Spanish; Driver's license in Spain preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor´s degree in engineering, technical studies or relevant field.
• Knowledge of electronics is highly desirable and experience with SAP-Ariba.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing strategies to optimize costs, quality and supplier reliability.
• Design and implement local sourcing plans to meet business targets.
• Support local sourcing strategies in line with business goals.
