Walker Lovell is recruiting a European Procurement Leader to build and run the procurement function across Spain and Germany. You will shape sourcing strategy, optimize costs with suppliers and contract manufacturers, and influence commercial outcomes with direct access to senior leadership.

Fluent in English and Spanish, with travel to Germany and across Europe, you will establish the framework for EU sourcing and partner with R&D, Quality, Finance and Sales to deliver strategic results.

Formación

• Proven strategic procurement experience in regulated environments.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and supplier networks.
• Advantage: experience in sports nutrition or dietary supplements.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; German language capability is a plus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and lead the strategic procurement function across Spanish and German operations, establishing the framework for wider EU sourcing.
• Drive cost optimisation and stronger commercial terms across suppliers and contract manufacturers, including payment terms, MOQs and trade credit insurance.
• Shape sourcing strategy across key sports nutrition and supplement categories, using global market and pricing intelligence to inform decisions.
• Partner with R&D, Quality, Finance and Sales while providing functional guidance to procurement teams across both markets.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven strategic procurement or category management experience within sports nutrition, dietary supplements, food or another relevant regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of ingredients such as protein, creatine, vitamins, minerals and botanicals, alongside experience managing contract manufacturers.
• A track record of developing supplier networks and delivering stronger commercial outcomes through structured, data-led negotiation.
• Fluent English and Spanish, with the flexibility to operate across Spain and Germany.
• German language capability is a strong advantage.
