Empresa Confidencial is seeking a Senior Regional Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities across Spain and Italy from a Madrid-based hybrid role. You will partner with Finance, IT and regional leadership to drive category strategy, supplier negotiations and value creation across multiple spend areas.

• Demonstrated experience managing Technology / IT Procurement.

• Experience supporting transformation, integration or change initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action.
• Fluent English required.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the regional Procurement strategy for Spain and Italy aligned with business priorities and global category direction.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and commercial optimisation across key spend categories.
• Deliver measurable value creation, savings opportunities and operational efficiencies while ensuring service continuity and quality.
• Act as a trusted business partner for Finance, IT and regional leadership teams.
• Drive spend visibility, category planning and sourcing decisions across the region.
• Influence stakeholders and support decision making through data, insights and Procurement expertise.
• Lead supplier performance, contract optimisation and risk mitigation activities across categories including Technology / IT, Facilities, Travel, Logistics, Professional Services, Educational Content & Services.
• Lead Procurement workstreams linked to integration and transformation projects across the region and promote best practices.

Senior Procurement Manager (Spain & Italy)

Location: Madrid, Spain

We are looking for a Senior Regional Procurement Manager to lead Procurement activities across Spain and Italy within an international and fast-evolving organisation.

This is a highly visible role combining strategic sourcing, business partnering and transformation leadership across a regional scope. The position will play a key role in strengthening Procurement maturity, supporting integration initiatives and driving value creation across multiple spend categories.

Working closely with regional stakeholders and Global Procurement teams, you will help shape sourcing strategies, optimise supplier performance and ensure consistent Procurement practices aligned with business priorities.

What you will do

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Leadership

• Define and execute the regional Procurement strategy for Spain and Italy aligned with business priorities and global category direction
• Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and commercial optimisation across key spend categories
• Deliver measurable value creation, savings opportunities and operational efficiencies while ensuring service continuity and quality

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a trusted business partner for Finance, IT and regional leadership teams
• Drive spend visibility, category planning and sourcing decisions across the region
• Influence stakeholders and support decision making through data, insights and Procurement expertise

Supplier & Category Management

• Lead supplier performance, contract optimisation and risk mitigation activities across categories including:
• Technology & IT
• Facilities & Workplace
• Travel
• Logistics
• Professional Services
• Educational Content & Services
• Ensure alignment with Global Procurement standards and category strategies

Transformation & Integration

• Lead Procurement workstreams linked to integration and transformation projects across the region
• Support supplier harmonisation, process improvement and Procurement operating model evolution
• Promote best practices, governance and adoption of Procurement tools and systems

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in senior or regional Procurement roles within international or matrix organisations
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and category management
• Demonstrated experience managing Technology / IT Procurement
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Experience supporting transformation, integration or change initiatives
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action
• Comfortable operating both strategically and hands‑on
• Fluent English required
