Job summary

Roche sucht eine/n Praktikant/in zur Unterstützung der myBuy-Implementierung in Marokko. Sie arbeiten an Datenaufbereitung, Migration und globaler Koordination, während Sie Einblick in Beschaffungsprozesse und AI-gestützte Dashboards erhalten.

Qualifications

Die Position

Purpose of the role:

The primary purpose of this role is to provide support to the myBuy implementation in Morocco. The intern will be responsible for the efficient execution of the provide administrative and operational support tasks to the migration as well as guiding the Morocco affiliate into the steps to execute the myBuy implementation. In addition to the mentioned activities, as second priority, it is expected that this role will assist the Diagnostic Procurement area with data and AI dashboard driven activities. This role will be supported by a person who already did a myBuy implementation and the aim is that she/he gets autonomy after some months to perform directly with the Morocco affiliate.

Main responsibilities:

As intern will provide support by managing procurement processes and related administrative tasks, leveraging strong analytical skills, and exploring process innovation.

1 - Aspire - Morocco:

• Data Cleansing & Migration Management: Lead and support targeted data cleansing and migration efforts across key procurement modules, including:
  • Vendor Master Data: Receive vendor data files, audit suppliers for accuracy, verify that all details and contact information are correct, and ensure vendor grouping classifications are properly aligned
  • Purchase Orders (POs): Auditing,adjusting, closing out, and migrating active and historical POs
  • Contracts: Validating, categorizing, and migrating existing vendor contracts
  • Vendor onboarding process mapping
  • Others adhoc tasks
• Commodity Coding (JCC): Accurately map, classify, and assign Joint Commodity Codes (JCC) across products, services, and vendor profiles.
• Deadline Management: Successfully execute assigned project phases and meet strict timeline milestones within a fast-paced environment.

MyBuy / SAP knowledge is a strong plus.

2 - Data Analysis & Automation:

• Excel Mastery: Utilize advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS,...) to clean, analyze, and report on procurement topics (surveys, spend data,..).
• AI/Dashboard focus: Maintain existing dashboards (done by previous intern with Ai) Research and propose optimisation and create new as per needs
• AI/Automation Focus: Research and propose specific administrative tasks that can be streamlined using basic AI tools or automation platforms.

Support in GenAI is a strong plus.

3 - Sourcing & Project Assistance:

• Order Processing: support and track routine with Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely data entry into the ERP system, contract signature.
• Compliance & Filing: Organize and maintain all digital procurement files (contracts, RFQs) for easy retrieval and audit-readiness.
• Support to bidding processes: With supervision organise Bidding process.
• Communication: Handle non-complex internal and external communications, including supplier follow-ups and stakeholder updates.

This activity will be done only if the other 2 allow bandwidth to execute.

What would a month's work look like?

• 30 - 60% on Morocco muBuy implementation:
  • Prepare data to be uploaded in the system
  • Exchange information with Morocco Procurement/finance team
  • Exchange information with mybuy implementation team
  • Weekly meet with the person who managed the project to follow-up on activities
  • In later stages: Train and use (eventually update) training material

% will change depending on the myBuy implementation phases.

• 20 - 30% on Excel-based / AI Data Analysis and Reporting.
• 20 -30% on Process Innovation (AI Focus) data treatment, process improvement, use of Gen AI to improve Data analysis, processes/research, documents,...

% will change depending on the myBuy implementation phases which are priority #1.

Considerations

As mentioned at the beginning this role is designed to support an implementation in Morocco & Support the Procurement department who supports the Roche Diagnostics Division in the digital area.

In this sense the following considerations:

• The organisation you will support will be in Morocco. The person from the team that will guide in the myBuy implementation is located in Vienna while you will be located in Barcelona / Sant Cugat. Other Procurement colleagues and the Manager of this Procurement function are in Barcelona / Sant Cugat.
• Trips to Morocco might be needed.
• At the beginning you will be trained and evolution is expected to start with some supervision and more and more gain autonomy.
• You will interact mainly in English with stakeholders in Morocco, Vienna and Spain.

Studies & Knowledge

• Bachelor in Economics or similar.
• Excel and Gen AI capabilities.
• Very Fluent in English (your work will be mainly done in this language)
• Having arab knowledge is a plus
• Having myBuy / SAP Procurement system knowledge is a plus
