Equinix, a leading global digital infrastructure company, seeks a Procurement Expert to manage IT equipment and software license procurement across EMEA, with AMER and APAC support. You will partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure cost efficiency and compliance while driving strategic sourcing initiatives.

Hybrid role with 2 days/week in the Madrid office and standard business hours. Fluent English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in related fields.
• Experience in IT equipment/software license procurement.
• Experience managing purchase orders, vendor relationships, and spend.

Responsabilidades

• Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders through relevant procurement systems
• Build and maintain relationships with key technology vendors
• Negotiate commercial terms within approval authority limits; monitor contract renewals
• Track procurement spend and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Act as primary point of contact for internal teams on procurement requests/escalations
• Collaborate with Implementation, Architecture, Product, and Warehouse teams

The Procurement Expert manages procurement across EMEA, with support for AMER and APAC, ensuring vendor performance, compliance, and cost efficiency. Acts as the key interface between internal stakeholders and external vendors, and is part of the Global EMS Logistics team.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders through relevant procurement systems

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Implementation, Architecture, Product, and Warehouse

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in IT equipment/software license procurement required — not an entry-level role
• Experience managing purchase orders, vendor relationships, and operational spend

• Analytical mindset for spend data
• Organized, detail-oriented, effective communicator in a matrix organization

Language: Fluent English required; Spanish a plus Working Conditions
