Gartner is seeking a Procure to Pay Specialist based in Barcelona to manage vendor relations, purchase orders, and catalog procurement processes across Gartner’s global operations. You will educate internal customers, resolve PO issues, and drive efficiency improvements using Oracle catalogs and related tools.

About this role

The Procure to Pay Specialist manages a variety of systems and processes related to and facilitating IT and non-IT products and services, in support of Gartner associates and initiatives worldwide.

What you’ll do

• Ensure activities are carried out according to established procedures.
• Moderate degree of independent decision making with vendors required.
• Responsible for the day to day management of the community email boxes.
• Responsible for managing the Requisitioning/Purchase Order system, including educating internal business customers and vendors on Gartner processes, answering questions, developing training materials and collaborating cross-functioning on efficiency initiatives;
• Manage Oracle catalog buy relationships and assume primary responsibility for problem resolution with the various catalog vendors.
• Manage order fulfillment for a variety of products and services;
• Contact suppliers and act as liaison for internal clients to resolve outstanding issues with Purchase Orders.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business area or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years previous experience as a P2P Specialist or relevant business experience of IT and non-IT products and services. Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard Procure to Pay best practices.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make timely decisions with regard to vendor problem resolution, invoice and quote reconciliation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Experience and proficiency with standard procurement and contract management systems such as Oracle procurement modules; Contract Management Tool; DocuSign, Excellent Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
