Amazon EU SARL (Spain Branch) seeks a Process Expert within the ACES Yard E2E Excellence team to own and drive initiatives transforming yard operations across Amazon's transportation network. You will design systems, standard work, and performance metrics to maximize compliance, productivity, and continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

This role targets data-driven problem solving and influencing change without direct authority, across multiple teams and sites in Europe.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, engineering, business management or other relevant field.
• Experience in process improvement.
• Knowledge of analytic tools.

Responsabilidades

• Process ownership: Map yard processes end-to-end, measure waste, and design solutions.
• Problem solving: Conduct root cause analysis and design scalable rollout plans.
• Benchmarking & standards: Create benchmark rates, establish standard work, conduct time studies.
• Financial modelling: Build financial models for improvement initiatives and ROI tracking.
• Stakeholder communication: Write business proposals and report project progress and risks.
• Cross-functional partnership: Partner with operations, technology, and other Amazon units to deploy initiatives on-site.
• Change management: Drive adoption of process changes using data-driven approaches.

As a Process Expert within the ACES Yard E2E Excellence team, you will own and drive initiatives that transform yard operations across Amazon's transportation network. You'll design and implement systems, standard work, and performance metrics that maximize compliance, productivity, and continuous improvement — leveraging Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to deliver measurable results across TOM operations.

This is a role for someone who love solving complex operational problems with data, and can influence change across teams without direct authority.

Key job responsibilities

• Process ownership: Map yard processes E2E, identify and measure waste, and design solutions that eliminate it — driving toward automation and operational excellence.
• Problem solving: Define problems, conduct root cause analysis (5-Why, fishbone, DMAIC), test and validate solutions, and design scalable roll-out plans with robust control mechanisms.
• Benchmarking & standards: Create benchmark rates across yard process paths, establish standard work, conduct time studies, and build audit processes to sustain gains.
• Financial modelling: Build clear financial models for improvement initiatives and collaborate with Finance to establish project-level reporting and ROI tracking.
• Stakeholder communication: Write business proposals tailored to diverse audiences, adjusting depth and style to the audience. Proactively communicate project progress, risks, and network impact.
• Cross-functional partnership: Build strong partnerships with operations field leaders, technology teams, and other Amazon business units to identify opportunities, share best practices, and deploy initiatives on-site.
• Change management: Drive adoption of process changes across the network without direct reporting lines, using data-driven approaches and scalable mechanisms to deliver within agreed timeframes.

The Yard E2E Excellence team sits within ACES and is part of STEP. We focus on making yard operations — shunting, cross-dock, trailer management — faster, safer, and more efficient across the European network. We combine data-driven problem solving with hands-on process expertise to set the standard for yard performance.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, engineering, business management or other relevant field
• Experience in process improvement
• Knowledge of analytic tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Knowledge of general AI tools
