Airbus Operations Illescas seeks a Process Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering Team, acting as the primary line-side technical support to manage daily shop-floor issues, maintain operational flow, and drive continuous improvement across production routines.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, capacity planning, and adapting to PLC changes while promoting a hybrid working model where possible.

Formación

• Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business, and in a networking mode.
• Languages: Advanced level in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily line-side support to manage technical issues including missing parts, non-conformities, concessions and OSW.
• Manage Work Orders for out-of-cycle manufacturing tasks and escalate when needed.
• Integrate support functions into production team's continuous improvement routines.
• Support capacity management by anticipating fluctuations and adapting to PLC changes.

Job Description

An opportunity for a Process Engineer has arisen within Airbus Operations, Illescas. The selected candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering Team, acting as the primary line-side technical support to manage daily shop-floor issues, maintain operational flow, and drive continuous improvement across production routines.

RESPONIBILITIES

Provide daily and on-shift line-side support to manage technical issues, including missing parts, Non-Conformities, concessions/DQNs, Outstanding Work (OSW), maintenance, and jigs & tools. Manage Work Orders for out-of-cycle manufacturing tasks. Escalate recurrent issues and request level-2 support from Work Prep, PPE, Maintenance, MAP, and OSW functions when necessary. Integrate Work Prep, PPE, Maintenance, MAP, and OSW support functions into the production team's continuous improvement routines. Support capacity management by anticipating fluctuations, adapting to changes in the Product Life Cycle (PLC), and fostering team competence.

SKILLS

Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline. Experience: At least 1-2 years in Manufacturing Engineering. Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business, and in a networking mode. Languages: Advanced level in English and Spanish. Valuable / Nice to have: Experience as an intern at Airbus will be highly valued.
