Job summary

Aircall, a unicorn AI-powered customer communications platform, seeks a Principal Engineer for the Communications Platform. You’ll define the technical direction, influence multiple engineering groups, and shape architecture at scale in a fast-moving, product-driven environment. You will mentor engineers, drive AI-driven improvements, and ensure voice and messaging power a seamless customer experience across global teams.

Qualifications

• Set technical strategy across several teams with architecture influence.
• Design and operate large-scale, high-availability distributed systems.
• Experience in real-time communications (VoIP, SIP, WebRTC) is a strong plus.
• Translate business needs into clear technical direction.
• Lead reliability at scale with SLOs, incident management, DR and capacity planning.
