Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets in Madrid is seeking a Pricing Developer to join the European HUB Pricing team. You will support the rating engine build, data insights, and BI reporting while collaborating with IT architects and the pricing unit to ensure a successful project delivery.

The role emphasizes Python development, large data handling, and delivering data-driven insights to stakeholders. A strong emphasis on collaboration and staying current with industry trends is required.

Formación

• At least 2 years in a Python development or data-focused role, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Strong, advanced knowledge of Python development.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience building Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience working with large data sets and data analysis tools.
• Experience with HX Renew is desirable.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate technical and transformation work into practical business terms.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical changes, transformation progress and data-driven insights to a range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
• Experience working within a Pricing or Actuarial function is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build the rating engine structures in the new platform, using Python as the core tool.
• Investigate libraries and modules to structure, develop and execute code efficiently.
• Collaborate with Pricing team to understand rating structure requirements.
• Review and test coding developed by other team members.
• Ensure data connections comply with IT standards.
• Support deep‑dive analyses to enhance data-driven insights.
• Develop Power BI MI dashboards and reports for KPIs and segmentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies affecting insurance.
