Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations worldwide. We seek a Pricing Analyst to analyze market prices, prepare quotations, and negotiate rates for ocean, air, and land shipments.

The role supports sales, maintains pricing databases, and monitors industry trends. Ideal candidates have strong Excel skills, excellent English, and a background in international trade and logistics.

Formación

• Requires training in international trade, transport and logistics.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar logistics/freight forwarding role.
• Experience in international ocean and air transport is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and prepare competitive pricing solutions for ocean, air, and land shipments according to customer requirements.
• Request, negotiate, and evaluate rates with shipping lines, airlines, carriers, agents, and suppliers to ensure competitive and profitable quotations.
• Prepare and send quotations and rates within established deadlines.
• Maintain and update tariffs, pricing databases, and customer-specific commercial agreements.
• Monitor market trends, surcharges, and industry conditions that may affect logistics costs.
• Support the sales team with pricing strategies and business opportunities.
• Communicate with customers regarding quotations, transit times, routes, and service alternatives.
• Prepare margin reports, profitability analysis, and cost tracking.

The Pricing Analyst analyzes market prices and data, identifies cost requirements and anticipates overhead. Reports on findings and makes recommendations.

Essential Job Functions

• Analyze and prepare competitive pricing solutions for ocean, air, and land shipments according to customer requirements
• Request, negotiate, and evaluate rates with shipping lines, airlines, carriers, agents, and suppliers to ensure competitive and profitable quotations
• Prepare and send quotations and rates within established deadlines
• Maintain and update tariffs, pricing databases, and customer-specific commercial agreements
• Monitor market trends, surcharges, and industry conditions that may affect logistics costs

Education and Experience

• Training in international trade, transport and logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the logistics/freight forwarding sector
• Previous experience in international ocean and air transport will be considered an asset
