Crane Worldwide Logistics seeks a Ground Transportation Coordinator to manage international road freight shipments across Europe and non-EU countries, ensuring timely delivery and compliant documentation.

You will coordinate the transport lifecycle from pickup to final delivery, handle customs coordination and billing, and maintain proactive communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of international road freight operations and customs documentation experience is advantageous.
• High proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate international road freight shipments across Europe and non-EU countries, from pickup to final delivery.
• Manage the complete transport process, including collection, coordination, shipment tracking, and last-mile delivery.
• Prepare, review, and manage transport and customs documentation for import/export operations.
• Coordinate customs clearance with brokers, customers, carriers and internal teams to ensure compliance.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Maintain communication with customers, carriers, brokers and internal teams regarding status and updates.
• Handle customer billing and validate supplier invoices accurately.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with timely responses.
• Collaborate with other branches and partners to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Ground Transportation Coordinator manages international road freight shipments across EU and non-EU countries, coordinates transport and customs processes, ensures documentation accuracy, and monitors shipments to guarantee efficient and timely delivery.

Essential Job Functions:

• Coordinate international road freight shipments across Europe and non-EU countries, from pickup to final delivery.
• Manage the complete transport process, including collection, operational coordination, shipment tracking, customs coordination, and last-mile delivery.
• Prepare, review, and manage all transport and customs documentation required for import and export road freight operations.
• Coordinate customs clearance processes with customs brokers, customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Monitor shipments proactively to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve operational incidents efficiently.
• Maintain constant communication with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, documentation, and operational updates.
• Handle customer billing and validate supplier invoices accurately.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service and timely responses.
• Collaborate with other company branches and partners across Europe and internationally to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing, and walking. Some light lifting may be required in certain situations.

• Experience or understanding of customs procedures and international trade documentation (CMR, commercial invoices, packing lists, export/import documentation, customs instructions, and related documents).
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• High level of English (written and spoken). Additional European languages are considered a plus.
• Knowledge of international road freight transportation across EU and non-EU countries is highly valued.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years experience in international road freight operations and customs documentation is considered an advantage.
