BIOGIPUZKOA Health Research Institute in Donostia-San Sebastián invites applications for a predoc researcher position in the Cellular Oncology Group. The role includes identifying cancer markers and conducting molecular and computational studies within a biomedical research setting.

Applicants should hold a university degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmacy with GPA above 7.5 and have a good command of English.

Formación

• Graduate in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry or Pharmacy.
• GPA above 7.5.
• Medium/high level of written and spoken English.
• Desirable: experience in Computational biology or Bioinformatics.
• Desirable: prior research lab experience.
• Desirable: knowledge of molecular and cellular biology techniques.
• Desirable: cancer research experience with publications or conference attendance.
• Disability certificate of 33% or higher is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Identification of new cancer markers.
• Analyzing and comparing data against studies published by other research groups.
• Development of molecular and computational studies.
• Clinical validation of identified patterns.
• Biological validation of identified patterns in both animal models and in vitro studies on cell cultures.
