SpliceBio, based in Barcelona, seeks a Scientist in Preclinical Ophthalmology to lead hands-on experiments and data analysis across ocular research programs. You will design and execute experiments, interpret results, and contribute to project planning while collaborating with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced biotechnology setting.

The role requires a PhD (or nearing completion) in ophthalmology, neuroscience, gene therapy, or related field, and at least 4 years of lab experience with

• PhD, PhD nearing completion, or equivalent relevant experience in ophthalmology, neuroscience, gene therapy or a related scientific field.
• At least 4 years of laboratory experience with demonstrated ability to independently perform experiments and analyse data.
• Hands-on experience with a range of bioanalytical techniques (see list).

Responsabilidades

• Independently design and execute experiments aligned with project objectives.
• Analyze experimental data and prepare high-quality reports and summaries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor technicians/junior scientists.
