Grünenthal Group is seeking a senior researcher to lead RNA therapeutics design, focusing on siRNA and oligonucleotide chemistry. You will integrate RNA biology with chemistry to enable gene knockdown and regulatory approaches, driving data-informed decision making in a state-of-the-art R&D environment.

We expect a PhD and 10+ years in industry, with a track record in candidate progression and strong Python/R skills.

Formación

• PhD in RNA biology, molecular biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, or related.
• 10+ years in industry with 5+ years in antisense or siRNA design and optimisation.
• Strong computational skills and experience with scripts/workflows.
• Experience designing siRNA for CNS and systemic delivery, in vivo activity.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and computational optimisation of RNA therapeutics, including siRNA.
• Define target sites and design strategies using sequence features and data.
• Drive design-test-learn cycles by integrating sequence, chemistry, and activity data.
• Develop computational tools/workflows for scalable oligonucleotide design.
• Collaborate with chemists and delivery scientists to optimise sequences and modifications.
• Lead programs toward candidate profiling and clinical development.
