Alignerr is seeking a Precision Medicine Data Lead to guide how genomic and clinical data are integrated and transformed for AI training. This is a remote hourly contract, requiring 10–40 hours per week and offering flexible, freelance-style engagement.

You will build data pipelines, supervise governance, and collaborate with clinicians and researchers to ensure data quality, regulatory alignment, and rigorous AI outputs in precision medicine.

What You'll Do

• Design, oversee, and optimize data pipelines that integrate genomics, clinical records, biomarkers, and other healthcare data into unified analytics platforms
• Lead analytical strategies that convert complex integrated datasets into actionable insights for precision medicine research and clinical decision support
• Evaluate and improve how AI systems reason about genomic and clinical data — identifying gaps, errors, and opportunities to enhance accuracy and scientific rigor
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and technical teams to ensure data quality, regulatory alignment, and meaningful communication of results
• Apply domain expertise to assess the quality and trustworthiness of AI-generated outputs in healthcare and life sciences contexts

Who You Are

• Experienced working with large-scale healthcare, genomic, or life sciences datasets in analytics or data leadership roles
• Strong foundation in data integration, data governance, and translating complex data into meaningful insights for scientific or clinical audiences
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with clinical, research, and engineering teams in regulated or highly technical environments
• Detail-oriented, analytically rigorous, and able to communicate nuanced findings clearly
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently in a remote, async environment

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
• Background in bioinformatics, translational research, or clinical informatics
• Familiarity with AI tools, large language models, or healthcare AI applications
• Experience navigating HIPAA, GDPR, or other regulatory frameworks in data environments
