  • Ensure all material assumptions, exclusions, dependencies and residual risks are documented, approved and reflected in proposal and contractual artefacts.
Standardization, Capability & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive adoption of standard service support packages, cost models, contractual schedules, response libraries, templates and customer-facing documentation.

  • Track team and process KPIs covering responsiveness, bid volumes & capacity, quality, supportability, risk closure, standard-package adoption, stakeholder satisfaction and handover effectiveness.
People & Performance Management
  • Lead, coach and develop the global SGS Pre-Sales team
  • Create an accountable, collaborative and customer-focused culture that delivers predictable quality under demanding bid timelines.

  • Support clarification and contract negotiation to protect the agreed operational model and ensure changes are assessed before commitment.
  • Ensure complete, timely handover of won opportunities to Delivery, Transition, Customer Operations and Product Adoption, with traceable decisions and documentation.
  • Establish feedback loops from bids and live operations to improve support offerings, processes and future opportunity quality.
Budget Management
  • Own and manage the assigned SGS Pre-Sales budget, including planning, forecasting, expenditure control and timely escalation of variances.
