FEV Iberia SL in Valladolid (Spain) is seeking a Powertrain Calibration / ADAS / Software Engineer to join a dynamic, international team. You will perform and support calibration activities for diesel, gasoline, and hybrid engines, and work with INCA, Creta, CANalyzer, and data management tools.

You will analyze test data with MATLAB/Python, ensure data traceability, and collaborate across levels of experience to continuously improve calibration workflows.

Formación

• Experience in automotive industry, systems engineering, or powertrain R&D.
• Experience with diesel calibration or aftertreatment.
• Knowledge of engine management systems and vehicle electronics.
• Familiarity with calibration tools (INCA, CANalyzer) and data analysis (MATLAB, Python).

Position: Powertrain Calibration / ADAS / Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform and support calibration activities for diesel, gasoline, and hybrid engines.
• Work with calibration and data management tools such as INCA, Creta, CANalyzer.
• Prepare, validate, and optimize datasets.
• Carry out emissions and aftertreatment calibration (DPF, GPF, SCR, LNT).
• Contribute to driveability and OBD calibration activities.
• Analyze test data using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability of calibration data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different levels of experience.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of calibration processes and workflows.

What we value:

• Experience in the automotive industry, systems engineering, or powertrain R&D (different levels of experience are welcome).
• Experience with diesel calibration, system engineering, or model-based design related to combustion, air systems, or aftertreatment.
• Strong technical curiosity and solid interest in powertrain calibration and automotive technology.
• Good understanding of engine management systems, calibration processes, and vehicle electronics.
• Experience with calibration and analysis tools (INCA, CANalyzer, MDA, MATLAB, Python, etc.).
• Knowledge of CAN communication and automotive architectures.
• A high level of English & French proficiency is mandatory.
