ARQUIMEA is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to develop and validate advanced power electronics hardware for embedded systems. You will lead schematic design, PCB layout and validation efforts while collaborating with firmware, mechanical and systems teams in technically demanding environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware development, design ownership and rigorous documentation. Willingness to relocate to the Canary Islands is expected, and English proficiency is required for

Formación

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in power electronics design including DC/DC, inverters or motor drives.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics fundamentals and thermal design.
  • Proficiency in PCB design using Altium Designer for high-power boards.
  • Ability to read schematics, datasheets and technical specs.

Responsabilidades

  • Design and develop power electronics hardware for embedded systems including DC/DC converters and motor drives.
  • Create and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs and documentation.
  • Define PCB design rules for high-power boards and thermal management.
  • Support hardware testing, validation and fault analysis with test equipment.
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical and systems teams for hardware bring-up.
  • Contribute to design reviews and component selection.
