ARQUIMEA is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to design and validate hardware for embedded systems across aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. You will lead hardware development from schematic design through prototype bring-up, testing, and validation, collaborating with firmware and mechanical teams.

The role emphasizes solid fundamentals in power electronics, practical bench work, and a proactive approach to hardware challenges.

Formación

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, Industrial or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Proven experience in power electronics design including DC/DC, power distribution, inverter or motor drive topologies, or battery management systems.
  • Strong fundamentals in power electronics: converter topologies, switching, thermal design and protection strategies.
  • Proficiency with PCB design tools, especially Altium Designer, for high-power boards.

Responsabilidades

  • Design and develop power electronics hardware for embedded systems (DC/DC converters, inverters, motor drives, BMS).
  • Create schematics, PCB layouts and BOMs; document design decisions and test plans.
  • Define PCB design rules for high-power boards and validate hardware through testing and measurement.
