My client is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer, who will develop and optimise high-voltage converters for advanced electric propulsion systems.

This is an on-site role, based in Madrid, Spain.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise switched-mode power supplies and high-voltage circuits.
• Simulate, analyse, and improve thermal and EMC performance. Test and qualify components.
• Design multilayer PCBs.
• Testing and building prototypes.
• Produce technical reports and cross-functionally work across teams.

Must Haves

• 5+ years’ experience in power electronics design.
• Master’s degree in Power Electronics or a related field.
• Expertise in SMPS and high-voltage design.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer and coding languages eg. Matlab.
• PCB design experience - up to 10 layers.
