Job summary

IRB Barcelona is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Laboratory of Molecular Biophysics in Barcelona. You will design and test biological hypotheses and perform experiments to study intrinsically disordered regions in transcription factors.

You will collaborate with an international team, contribute to high-quality publications, and engage in seminars, conferences, and project reports while advancing understanding of phase transitions in multivalent proteins.

Qualifications

• PhD in biochemistry, chemistry, biotechnology or related field.
• First-author publications in biophysics of intrinsically disordered proteins.
• Experience with intrinsically disordered regions.
• Experience with phase transitions of multivalent proteins.
• Demonstrated ability to design and conduct experiments independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic and collaborative; eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently in demanding research environment.
