Universitat de les Illes Balears is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the open quantum systems group, focusing on driven-dissipative dynamics and quantum reservoir computing. The role involves exploring energetic and entropic costs of information processing in QRC platforms and relating spectral properties to thermodynamic performance.

Ideal candidates will have a solid background in quantum thermodynamics, machine learning for quantum systems, and strong Python numerical skills.

Formación

• Experience in complex quantum systems, quantum thermodynamics and quantum machine learning.
• Solid command of numerical simulation (e.g. Python) and analytical methods applied to quantum neuromorphic computing and quantum thermodynamics.

Responsabilidades

• Join the research group working on open quantum systems, driven-dissipative dynamics and quantum reservoir computing (QRC).
• Characterise energetic and entropic costs of information processing in driven-dissipative QRC platforms and relate spectral properties to thermodynamic performance.
