Unist in Madrid invites a researcher to focus on experimental quantum materials, superconductivity and strongly correlated systems. The role involves material synthesis and characterization, low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy, data analysis and scientific instrumentation, with a strong emphasis on collaborative research and open data practices.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in Physics or related area, with hands-on experience in condensed matter, functional materials

Formación

• PhD in Physics or closely related area with proven experience in condensed matter physics.
• Experience in synthesis, growth and advanced characterization of materials, including single crystals and functional materials; low-temperature techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Material synthesis and characterization.
• Low-temperature STM/STS experiments.
• Data analysis and instrumentation.
• Collaborative research and publications; FAIR/open data management.
