UNSW invites applications for a 2-year, full-time Post-Doctoral Fellow in Biostatistics and Cancer Epidemiology at the South-West Sydney Clinical School, Liverpool Hospital, with hybrid working. The role sits in CCORE/Ingham Institute to refine health services research and equity analysis.

Work will involve statistical analyses of large administrative datasets linked to Census and NSW health data, under expert supervision and collaborative teams.

Formación

• PhD or equivalent in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience contributing to competitive grant applications.
• Interest in reducing health system inequalities and improving cancer outcomes.
• Advanced statistical and data analysis skills including causal inference and prognostic modelling.
• Evidence of strong data management with large linked administrative datasets (Stata, R, SAS, Python).
• Emerging publication track record in biostatistics, cancer or health services research.
• Ability to engage with diverse audiences and tailor communication.
