UNSW is seeking a Part-time Post-Doctoral Fellow to lead the oral history archive project on feminist activism in NSW. The role focuses on conducting interviews, developing protocols, and coordinating archival work as part of a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The fellow will manage ethics compliance, liaise with stakeholders, and prepare material for a public website, contributing to a rigorous, broader history of child rights advocacy in Australia.

Formación

• PhD or equivalent in History or related field.
• Experience in oral history and qualitative interviewing.
• Awareness of trauma-informed and feminist methodologies.
• Track record in research related to feminist activism or child rights.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with key stakeholders and interview participants.
• Develop interview protocols and oral history methodology.
• Manage UNSW ethics processes and compliance requirements.
• Conduct interviews, coordinate transcripts and code interviews.
• Organise materials for archive cataloguing and digitising.
• Liaise to access personal archives and supplementary materials.
• Work with repositories to prepare for storage of materials.
• Undertake literature review and contextual historical research.
• Prepare funding applications.
