Job summary

EIT Urban Mobility is offering a full-time Intern PMO position based in Barcelona starting January 2027 for six months. You will support the legal entity validation process, review legal and financial documentation, and ensure compliance across processes.

Ideal candidates hold a university degree in Law or related field, are proficient in English (C1), and comfortable with Microsoft 365 tools. You will gain hands-on experience in EU funding programmes within an international team.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field (Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Public Administration)
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1)
• Interest in compliance, legal validation processes, operational management, or EU funding programmes
• Strong MS 365 skills and comfort with digital tools
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in international/multicultural environment

Responsibilities

• Support the review of legal and financial documentation related to entity validation.
• Assist in applying relevant regulations, internal procedures, and data protection requirements.
• Provide administrative and operational support to participating entities during the validation process.
• Manage and process information accurately and timely.
• Support testing and implementation of procedures, policies, systems, and digital tools.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives within the PMO team

Reporting to the PMO Programme Manager, the PMO Intern will support the legal entity validation process for the EIT Community and contribute to ensuring efficient and compliant operational processes.

• Supporting the review of legal and financial documentation related to entity validation.
• Assisting in the application of relevant regulations, internal procedures, and data protection requirements.
• Providing administrative and operational support to participating entities throughout the validation process.
• Managing and processing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supporting the testing and implementation of procedures, policies, systems, and digital tools.
• Contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives within the PMO team.

Must-have:

• University degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, or another relevant field.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level).
• Interest in compliance, legal validation processes, operational management, or EU funding programmes.
• High confidence using digital tools, particularly Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately with information and data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.

Nice-to-have:

• Previous academic, volunteer, or professional exposure to EU-funded programmes (e.g. Horizon Europe, Interreg, ERDF) or similar national and international funding schemes.
• Experience working with data management or administrative processes.

Kindly note that this is a full-time intenship position. Spanish Internship Contract OR University Internship Agreement.

Starting date: January 2027.

Duration: 6 months.

Compensation: 1.450 € gross per month.

No relocation expenses are granted.
