Schwarz Digits in Europe seeks a Cloud Platform Engineer to own the Kubernetes infra and CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments. You’ll manage Helm charts, ArgoCD, and a PostgreSQL fleet with a focus on reliability and auditability.

Working with STACKIT as the provider, you’ll implement IaC, strengthen security with TLS/mTLS and Keycloak, and deliver observable dashboards with Prometheus and Grafana.

Formación

• Production Kubernetes experience including upgrades, RBAC, namespaces, quotas, and incidents.
• Fluent in Helm and GitOps tooling; write charts from scratch.
• Strong PostgreSQL operations: replication, backups, restore, and performance tuning.
• IaC experience and treating manual steps as debt.
• Familiar with observability stacks: PromQL, Grafana, and alerting.
• Knowledge of cloud-native security concepts: mTLS, OAuth2/OIDC, cert management.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Kubernetes infra across DEV to PROD.
• Manage and extend Helm charts and ArgoCD pipelines for declarative deployments.
• Operate and optimize PostgreSQL fleet including backups, failover, and migrations.
• Drive IaC practices with Git, avoiding manual snowflakes.
• Own observability stack, build dashboards, and tune alerts for actionable signals.
• Strengthen platform security: TLS cert-manager, Keycloak integration, and mTLS setup.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize CI/CD and security scans.
• Work with STACKIT to plan capacity, upgrades, and disaster recovery procedures.
