Propel is seeking a Platform Engineer for a 12-month contract. You’ll tackle complex infrastructure challenges and help build a platform designed for global scale.

This remote role requires you to be based in Europe and to work closely with experienced engineers to enhance security, resilience, and automation across the platform. Ideal candidates have production Kubernetes experience, strong AWS knowledge, and familiarity with Istio/Envoy service meshes, enabling you to contribute across

• Experience running Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud services, especially AWS.
• Familiarity with service meshes such as Istio and Envoy.

I’m working on an exciting 12-month contract opportunity with a high-scale fintech, looking for a Platform Engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and building platforms designed for global scale. Remote – must be based in Europe

The tech environment:

You’ll be someone who has experience with:

• Running Kubernetes in production
• AWS and core cloud services
• Service meshes – ideally Istio amp; Envoy

You’ll be working closely with experienced engineers to improve security, resilience, scalability and automation across a genuinely complex platform.
