Job summary

Persán in Sevilla, Spain, seeks a Manufacturing Shift Supervisor to organize, manage and train the solid packaging personnel on the shift, ensuring safety, efficiency and product quality.

You will oversee shift operations, coordinate with maintenance, monitor productivity, maintain a broad process overview and foster teamwork in a dynamic environment with ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience on a shift.
• Analytical thinker with proactivity and initiative.
• Good social and communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years in similar supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Organize, manage, and train the solid packaging personnel on your shift.
• Supervise and directly control the work of personnel on your shift.
• Record personnel movements for productivity and payroll.
• Ensure operational efficiency of the plant's facilities and equipment.
• Maintain general order and cleanliness of facilities and equipment.
• Ensure safety of people and facilities.
• Ensure product quality and perform Quality checks.
• Immediate management of breakdowns; coordinate with Maintenance.
• Maintain a global view of the process and interdepartmental relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

• Organize, manage, and train the solid packaging personnel on your shift.
• Supervise and directly control the work of personnel on your shift.
• Record personnel movements (important for productivity calculations and payroll management).
• Ensure the operational efficiency of the plant's facilities and equipment.
• Ensure the general order and cleanliness of the plant's facilities and equipment.
• Ensure the safety of people and facilities.
• Ensure the quality of the final product and verify certain Quality controls.
• Immediate management of breakdowns. Coordination with Maintenance.
• Maintain a global vision of the process and interdepartmental relationships.

Requirements:

• Education: Technical Industrial Engineering or Industrial Organization Engineering (equivalents will also be considered).
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Good social and communication skills. Proactivity and initiative.
• Analytical skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions.
