Greenvolt is seeking a Planning & Control Manager to join our team in Madrid. The role focuses on planning, monitoring, and controlling project execution, aligning schedule, cost, resources, and business objectives to deliver successful projects.

You will oversee financial processes, develop forecasts, and support strategic decisions across multiple geographies. Strong English, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of professional experience in accounting, consolidation, audit, or planning & control.
• Experience in the Energy sector is a plus.
• Proficiency in financial and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Python is valued but not essential.
• Open-minded, reliable, proactive, and team-oriented individual.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
• Digital mindset with a focus on automation, data analytics, and process optimization is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and oversee the monthly accounting closing process.
• Conduct financial analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual operational and financial performance.
• Prepare and monitor monthly reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and review the annual budget.
• Prepare rolling forecasts and financial projections.
• Develop financial forecasts and simulations to support business decision-making.
• Track capital allocation per project and monitor respective returns.
• Monitor short-, medium-, and long-term cash flow requirements for each project.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of new financial processes and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
