Sungrow Renewables Development Co., Ltd in Madrid is seeking a Project Planner/Cost Controller to support large-scale EPC renewables projects. You will develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, and coordinate with project teams.

The role requires EVM knowledge, strong Excel reporting, and bilingual communication in Spanish and English, with Madrid-based placement or relocation.

Formación

• 3+ years in project planning and/or cost control within EPC projects
• Solid knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
• Experience in renewable energy (solar PV, wind, or BESS)
• Strong Excel skills and reporting capabilities
• Fluent in Spanish and English (professional working level)
• Based in Madrid or willing to relocate

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Define WBS, critical paths, and milestones with project teams
• Track progress versus baseline, identify deviations, and propose recovery plans
• Review and integrate subcontractor schedules into the master plan
• Support cost tracking and budget monitoring (EAC, ETC, variance analysis)
• Prepare S-curves, progress reports, and dashboards for management review
• Assist in Variation Orders and claims when needed
• Proactively identify schedule risks and bottlenecks
• Raise early warnings to Project Managers and suggest corrective actions
• Ensure timely communication of delays and their potential impact

Key Responsibilities

• Define WBS, critical paths, and key milestones in coordination with project teams
• Track actual progress against baseline, identify deviations, and propose recovery plans
• Review and integrate subcontractor schedules into the master plan

Cost Control & Reporting

• Support cost tracking and budget monitoring (EAC, ETC, variance analysis)
• Prepare S-curves, progress reports, and dashboards for management review
• Assist in the preparation and follow-up of Variation Orders and claims when needed

Risk & Alert Management

• Proactively identify schedule risks and bottlenecks
• Raise early warnings to Project Managers and suggest corrective actions
• Ensure timely communication of delays and their potential impact

What We Are Looking For

Must-have:

• 3+ years of experience in project planning and/or cost control within EPC projects

• Experience with BESS projects
• Knowledge of grid connection processes
• Familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools
• Experience working with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
