Quality Engineer Job Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring and organizing quality services in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and stable delivery of aircraft components to the final assembly line.
  • Further develop on-site quality services in extent and sophistication.
  • Create, handle, and conclude quality notifications as well as perform and support quality audits.
  • Responsible for root cause analysis and corrective action implementation as well as liaising with the HQ quality department.
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and changing processes, procedures, and quality specifications.
  • Establish, further develop, and implement quality training for employees on-site.
Requirements
  • Education in business administration / engineering or quality management would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience as a structural assembler or quality inspector, with 5+ years in a metalworking environment, is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and interpreting certificates and standards.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (B2 level); knowledge of German is an asset.
  • High level of responsibility, reliability, assertiveness, and quality awareness as well as team-oriented and cooperative.
  • Strong decision-making skills in quality management specifically with regards to acceptance or rejection of first article tests, QM notifications, and processes.
