European International School of Barcelona is looking for a passionate and dedicated Physics teacher to join our Secondary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students.

We are located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, just 15km from the centre of Barcelona. EISB is surrounded by the 8.465 hectare Collserola Natural Park, on a 14.000m2 plot with 10.503m2 of constructed spaces for classrooms, laboratories, dining rooms, a library, auditorium, a gymnasium, two swimming pools and a fully‑equipped kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging physics lessons to students in Secondary (ESO, National Baccalaureate & IB).
• Develop and implement curriculum in line with school standards and educational best practices.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support student’s development and school initiatives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Two years of previous experience in similar positions.
• Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
