ERNI - Swiss Software Engineering is seeking a backend/full-stack engineer to help build enterprise content management platforms using PHP, Python and modern API-driven architectures. You will contribute to design, development and maintenance across teams in a collaborative environment.

You'll work with Laravel, REST APIs, MySQL and PostgreSQL, and you will be part of a supportive team with mentoring and a hybrid office schedule.

Formación

• Experience building full-stack apps with PHP and Python.

Do you imagine building enterprise content management platforms while working with PHP, Python and modern API-driven architectures?

Join our expert team to work on a Content Management sector project, contributing to the development of enterprise content applications and digital platforms. You will apply your knowledge of PHP, Python, APIs, databases and containerized environments to build scalable and reliable solutions.

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What you will bring

• Strong experience building full stack applications with PHP and Python.
• Hands-on experience developing solutions with Laravel, REST APIs and JSON integrations.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL including data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience working with Docker, GitHub and modern software engineering practices.
• Professional communication skills in English within international environments.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining enterprise content management applications and digital platforms using PHP and Python. Building REST APIs and integrations while optimizing databases and containerized environments. Collaborating with global teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions while contributing to documentation, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

We ask you to be available for key meetings. Need to leave for a doctor’s appointment or to pick up your child from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality work within your 40-hour workweek.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
